Interested in volunteering for Tampa Bay Tapped?

Tampa Bay Tapped is a volunteer-run organization and needs the help of many people to put on our events each month. Your service to Tampa Bay Tapped is invaluable and appreciated. And we love our people!

There are two different kinds of volunteerism: Event Coordinators and Event Volunteers. 

Event Coordinator:
This volunteer is part of the Leadership Team, which meets once a month. To be considered for this position, you need some event planning experience since you will be responsible for an entire event. You will team up with a Leadership Team Member but you do the lion's share of the heavy lifting. Most of our events are
on Thursday or Friday nights, so availability on these days is important. It's not necessary that you be able to attend all the events in order to be involved. But if your life is already really busy (work full time + 3 other
groups you are committed to) then this position may not be the thing for you. We desperately need reliability and follow up.

Event Volunteers: 
Beer knowledge is absolutely not important, but some is necessary, like the difference between a 
lager and a stout.

Volunteer positions available at events: 
- Door: check tickets, sell tickets, sell t-shirts, check in volunteers, hand out glasses
- Beer pourer: open bottles, pour 2 ounce tastings, identify and cut off inebriated guests
- Set up/Clean Up: help set up before the event and clean up after the event
